Thought Thought (Day 93: 01-Oct-2013)
Simplify things and give out the best. |
Kalki was voted the favorite student in his batch. He was the first student to be recruited by a top paying corporate giant. The mathematics and
science department in his university literally had a fan page in FB for him. Friends
who knew him outside college were proud to be his fan page follower. He was envied too because situations were always favorable to him.
Kalki was a very talented, intelligent, good natured fellow who led a
very simple life style. For someone who did not know him, he was the laziest bum
they ever knew. Sometimes he would spend all his alone time sleeping, even at
times in the college library. He never wanted to exert too much. Other than the
times when Kalki was not found lazing, he always had someone taking his opinion.
Sometimes, it was even his lecturers or professors. He believed that there was
always a simple solution to anything and everything; even if it was rocket
science. This attitude attracted lot of people towards him. Whenever someone got stuck with their studies or project or even in their personal life,
they knew who to talk to.
His solution to their concerns or his own was way too simple but highly
logical. It worked almost all the time. He inspired and encouraged. They learnt
from his that all problems can be solved in 2 ways. We either complicate it and
come up with a difficult solution or think simple and solve it easily. Humans
usually have a tendency to see difficult situations with fear and hatred. This
in turn would perplex the condition further leading to strain in relationships,
job execution, or anything else. Kalki, on the other hand faced every situation
with confidence and maturity. This acted like a magnet and attracted people. He
knew that worrying or being scared will not provide resolution. He kept his
mind steady and came up with simple, logical solutions. This helped him give his
best to the world and the world gave back its best to him.
